Health & Safety Policy

Health & Safety Policy

It is a requirement of the Health and Safety at Work Act that the Company nominates a director to be responsible for the Company for Health and Safety.

It is the Company Policy to ensure that at all times all employees both on and off the site work safely, both for themselves and for third parties. The Company and the directors of the Company will provide resources and training as reasonably required to achieve this overall Policy objective. Full details on the Company training arrangements are as detailed in the Company Health and Safety Manual, which is to be taken and read in conjunction with this Health and Safety Policy Statement.

It is also the duty of employees to conform to this Policy and to accept that they too have a responsibility in enabling the objectives to be achieved.

Those employees and managers with specific responsibilities for Health and Safety must ensure that in their absence a responsible person is nominated to represent them in that function.

All employees and managers who authorize work to be carried out will ensure that the conditions implicit in the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and subsequent associated legislation will be met.

Attitude is a major part of ensuring adequate attention to Health and Safety and it is incumbent on all employees to ensure that work areas and working methods are safe.

The directors give full backing to this Policy and, together with the employees and managers, will ensure that the Policy is carried out.

Signed

John R. Allden
