EcoVadis Score 2023

We are delighted to announce that we have improved our EcoVadis score and have been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze medal award. EcoVadis is the globally recognised assessment platform that rates businesses’ sustainability covering environmental impact, labour & human rights, ethics and procurement practices.

This is of the utmost importance for the future success of the business as more and more customers look to work with like-minded companies who hold sustainability and social values high up their agenda.

Our journey began by establishing 3 main pillars across our Group and ensuring the culture of all business activity was based within these beliefs of:

The Environment

A passionate team of employees across the Group drive the brands forward within these areas.

Business Ethics: we ensure the companies we partner with are similarly aligned to ourselves and conduct regular audits of external partners to share best practices.

People and the Community: we are aware our greatest asset is our employees, therefore we carry out mental health awareness training and regular well-being training days. These were introduced to enhance the working lives of our teams and provide opportunities to develop new habits, for both in and out of work. Since beginning our journey, we have also partnered with two amazing charities, each based in the communities where our manufacturing sites are located. We work very closely with both to make sure we provide the exact support they, and their members need.

Environment: we work continuously to revisit and revise packaging, waste management and single use plastics. Across the Group, we ensure our products are packaged in the most sustainable way possible. Just this year, our M2 brand has redesigned their packaging across all of their ranges and will remove over two and a half tonnes of single use plastic that would otherwise end up in landfill.

As a company we feel extremely proud to be awarded the EcoVadis bronze medal award in recognition of all the hard work that the team has worked on over the past 12 months. Many plans are in place to continue the great work to date and targets set to ensure we continue improving our score and as a result conducting ourselves in a more sustainable business manner.
