Tamlex currently supply bespoke power modules to the Ministry of Justice i.e. prisons and detention centres, across the country. Many of the prison products supplied to these institutions and detention centres are uniquely engineered to be exceptionally hard wearing and vandal proof. By offering this protection it ensures peace of mind for the installer and anyone within the vicinity that the prison products are safe for purpose.

The prison products provided have a variety of safety features including concealed fixings to prevent the sockets from being pulled away from the walls or allow access to the internal parts. They also include durable double skins to provide robust conservation against high traffic areas, tamperproof fixings are used to secure lids and offer protection to the contents and internal parts, and our flush mount modules are anti-ligature systems to prevent any harm.

Many of the power and call point modules often must fit into a small existing footprint within the locations. With over 50 years of experience Tamlex can make a tailor-made solution that can provide an exact product that meets the needs of a particular installation, which is not available off the shelf. This in turn ensures our products are quick to fit upon installation and therefore minimising the disruption to both staff and in-mates of these centres.
